Pretty sunrise and a trip to Chiringashima
The alarm clock went of a 6:30 and it was high time to get up and look outside. The sunrise was spectacular and promised a clear and sunny day.
The photo session concluded it was time to enjoy breakfast again. (Like I didn’t eat enough for dinner.) Today the grilled fish did include salmon instead of mackerel. A bit dry and to cold in my opinion but still good.
Today’s planned excursion was to walk over the sandbank to Chiringashima. The timing was perfect and the last part of the sandbank still wet dried up just as we walked up. On the island we did meet the couple from yesterday again.
After walking up the hill we rang the Chirin bell and took the walk from viewing point to lighthouse to the next viewing point past the port back to the sandbank. We did cross back with time to spare.
What to do now? There was no more program planned for the day. Well feet need care. So we put them into the foot onsen again. After dinner some rest and back to being buried in the sand and keep warm in the onsen.
Some walked into town or even visited the local museum. I did go up to the room and tried to nap some. After some tee it was time to get some hot sand again if I wanted to make it to dinner on time.
Dinner again was a feast and drinking afterwards a given. Somehow the beer bottles did not empty as fast as the days before. It seems some kind of saturation kicked in. 🙂
Last order of the day was the onsen and some ice cream again.
