After a long time staying in Europe and only shorter trips, I am to try a longer trip again. And what better way to start a longer trip than to go to the same country like with the last trip.
So back to Japan it is. This time, the itinerary is in the summer – hot and humid – and to the north.
But as usual, the fun starts before the trip even begins and my regular 1 hour travel time from thee local train station to the airport is going to be extended to 2 hours. 1 of those hours being on a replacement bus. The tracks are currently under repair. – At least the repairs were planned. Quite contrary to the last 4 trips using trains. Deutsche Bahn is no longer on time it seems.
So let’s hope that we will be lucky and I will make it to the airport in time.
