Arembepe

Another town right south of Itacimirim is Arembepe. This town is not as spread out and actually quite nice to look at. It’s past with the Hippie community micht have some to do with that. Swimming is somewhat easier as well thanks to the reef in front of the harbour that keeps the waves out.
Still the sea is taking back parts of the town bit by bit and some properties are now endangered by the waves.
What actually brought us her is a Capoeira academy run by Mestre Orelia. Mestre Orelia was a student of Mestre Bamba who was one of the students of Mestre Bimba himself. Moranginho took lessons here and found some friends too.
I could I not only watch (and practice) the whole Sequencias de Bimba in one set but also watch some Ninjitsu classes thought by my friend Bernhard.
