Brasilía at dusk
As we had a car loaned to us we w were able to drive into town on our own and we were not dependent on public transport. Which is not suitable for sightseeing in Brasília anyway. The distances are massive and the city not at all build for pedestrians.
As today was the national holiday of Brazil most of the main buildings were not accessible until later as there was a big parade going on. So we went in the evening to have a short look and drive around.
As I was the driver no pictures of the drive though. 🙂
The cathedral was unfortunately closed so so I could not go inside.
An hint to the size of the place: The radio tower and the big double skyscraper mark the beginning and the end of the main strip. And it would take you quite some time to walk it.
