Night skies at Lake Mahinapua

I did not actually see the entrance to the costume party though.

I had decided to take advantage of the secluded lake and take some pictures of the night sky. So I went back to the lake with tripod and camera.

Going through the woods was spooky enough even though I was in the middle of nowhere, there are no dangerous animals on NZ and I had my torch.

Unfortunately some light pollution was visible even here. But I think the pictures turned out well enough anyway.
